Meet David & Lynn Cherry
Helping leaders build teams where people connect and work better together.
Good teams need clear direction, meaningful trust, and people who understand how to work together.
We help leaders strengthen those foundations through interactive workshops, practical tools, and honest conversations. Whether your team is navigating growth, struggling with communication, or ready to work together more effectively, we create space to understand what’s happening and take useful steps forward.
Our approach brings together leadership experience, complementary perspectives, and a shared belief: when people connect better, teams work better.
David Cherry
Team Development Consultant, Speaker & Certified Working Genius Facilitator
For more than 30 years, David has built, led, and developed teams. His experience includes overseeing 170 volunteers across 80 positions—work that taught him how much clear expectations, thoughtful communication, and strong relationships matter.
Today, he helps leaders address the friction that keeps good people from doing their best work. Through Working Genius, customized workshops, speaking, and coaching, David helps teams understand their strengths, challenge assumptions, and find a clearer path forward.
As the author of One More Question, David encourages people to approach others with curiosity. He believes better questions can open the door to stronger connection, deeper trust, and more effective collaboration.
Lynn Cherry
Author, Speaker & Facilitator
Lynn brings clarity, organization, and a practical perspective to the teams she serves. An author, speaker, and group facilitator, she appreciates a thoughtful process—and a good checklist.
Her approach helps people engage with ideas, reflect on what they’re learning, and identify what to do next. She brings warmth and structure to conversations that can sometimes feel complicated, helping groups turn insight into practical action.
Lynn is the author of Keep Walking: 40 Days of Hope After Betrayal. Her writing and speaking reflect her commitment to helping people move through difficult experiences with honesty, hope, and purpose.
Different Strengths. Shared Purpose.
We know firsthand that working well together takes more than good intentions.
Married since 1991, we bring different personalities and approaches to our partnership. Discovering Working Genius gave us a new appreciation for those differences and how they can strengthen our work.
That experience shapes how we facilitate. Together, we can guide discussion, notice what’s happening in the room, invite participation, and help teams capture meaningful next steps.
Outside of work, we enjoy traveling, exploring local wineries, and watching sunsets from our back patio.
